A summery and well balanced vintage Ancnoc from The Knockdhu distillery in the East Highlands and as always with this distillery very fruit driven and easy drinking. Beyond that subtle packaging there is some great liquid lurking within!

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit honey highlights and a warm coppery glow.
Nose
Lemon curd atop buttery brown toast opens the nose, with waxy orange zest, honey and butterscotch. Hints of tunnocks toffee wafer bars emerge, finished by a delicate dusting of cacao powder.
Palate
Chocolate orange leads the palate, entwined with sweet honey and spiced citrus. A waxy mouthfeel frames poached pear with a hint of toffee sauce.

Shortbread, terry's chocolate orange, apricot jam, honey glazed fruit, toasted vanillin oak
