Translating as ‘Rare Cask’ in Gaelic, Casg Annamh is created from a limited number of carefully selected casks. These Spanish oak Oloroso Sherry casks/butts have a significant influence on the non-chill filtered liquid and perfectly complement Aberlour’s distillate flavour, bringing sweet and rich notes.
Casg Annamh is a distinctively rich Single Malt providing adventurous malt lovers with the ideal introduction to Sherry cask matured whiskies.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery mahogany hues and a warm bronze-gold glow.
Nose
Rich and sweet on the nose, with tangy orange, glazed cherries, raisins and a hint of ginger.
Palate
On the palate, sweet and fruity notes persist: apple and cinnamon crumble with ripe peaches, intertwined with licorice and cloves. Rich, lightly creamy texture supports a long, fruity finish draped in spice.
Finish
Long and rich, the finish lingers with fruity depth—ripe peach, baked apple and citrusy orange—hinted by raisin sweetness. A refined touch of spice—licorice and cloves—dries the palate with a warm, dry finish.
