Colour

Rich amber-gold with coppery depth and a sunset-red glint at the rim, a warm, inviting hue that hints at sherry influence and oak sweetness.

Nose

A warm, inviting nose of banana bread, pear and stewed fruits, unveiling comforting sweetness and rich fruit depth.

Palate

Chai spice and dark cacao coalesce on the palate, delivering a luxurious, textured sip with a warming, lingering presence.

Finish

Dates linger on the palate, supported by refined tannins that give structure and depth, as a delicate wisp of smoke threads through the finish, leaving a quiet, sophisticated echo that invites the next sip.

Woven was founded in 2020 by Peter Allison, Duncan McRae and Nick Ravenhall, with the business launching in 2021 from Leith, Edinburgh. Rather than centring itself on one distillery, Woven was set up as a modern whisky maker focused on blending, with Leith chosen in part because of its long history as a whisky blending and trading hub.
