Tasting Notes
Colour
Luminous honey-gold with a warm amber depth and coppery glints.
Nose
Juicy orange segments stewed in honey and cinnamon, crowned with saffron custard. Hints of freshly baked brioche buns and ripe stone fruit drift along the edges, lending warmth, richness and an inviting, honeyed sweetness to the aroma.
Palate
A bloom of floral sweetness gives way to opulent orange oil and toasted oats, then a syrupy, waxy coating coats the tongue like cut honeycomb, amplified by the cask-strength warmth and a lingering citrus-tinged finish.
Finish
Effervescent cinder toffee dances on the palate, dispersing into a clean, refreshing finish.
