Tasting Notes
Colour
Burnished amber-gold with coppery highlights and a honeyed glow—a natural, unfiltered colour that hints at Moscatel maturation and a sun-warmed, luxurious depth.
Nose
Opulent Moscatel sweetness dominates the nose. Ripe grape nectar, dried apricot, marmalade orange, and honeyed sultanas are woven with vanilla and almond. A delicate maritime note—salt-kissed brine and sea spray—lends a balancing lift to the rich fruit and oak.
Palate
On the palate, it coats with honeyed Moscatel sweetness: raisins, figs and apricot, brightened by orange zest and vanilla oak. Full, velvety and warmly spiced (cinnamon, clove), with a sturdy cask-strength bite. Long finish of almond, dark chocolate and a subtle maritime whisper.
Finish
Long, lush finish driven by Moscatel sweetness: orange marmalade, dried fig and honey entwine with vanilla and soft toffee. Oak and spice emerge as a warm, velvety echo that lingers, invitation to the next sip.
