Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with honeyed, sunlit highlights and a coppery glow.
Nose
Opulent vanilla and honeyed toffee rise from the glass, wrapped in creamy custard and toasted American oak. Subtle dried orchard fruit, almond biscuit, and a whisper of spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—drift through, finishing with a bright citrus zest that lends a poised, grain-soft elegance to this 24-year-old single cask.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with rich vanilla and caramel sweetness, layered with honeyed orchard fruit and a whisper of tropical notes. Toasted American oak delivers warm spice—cinnamon and white pepper—with a creamy grain backbone. Citrus zest brightens the mid-palate, leading to a long, warming finish of oak, toffee, and dried fruit.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with creamy vanilla and butterscotch giving way to toasted almond and orange zest. Dried apricot and fig lend sweetness as cinnamon and clove weave through the oak, ending in a warm, resinous whisper of American oak that lingers gracefully.
