Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with honeyed warmth and a coppery shimmer.
Nose
Subtly spiced cereal hints and sweetness entwine to evoke ripe tropical mango, papaya, and peapods. Hints of hard toffee and light, sustained oak surface, foreshadowing the palate's spicy edge. A splash of water frees cinnamon bun and salted toffee, while these notes gently soften to scented beeswax.
Palate
Silky, smooth-flowing on the palate, an intense butterscotch sweetness deepens into rich caramel-toffee. Mid-palate reveals a spicy-dry, oaky edge that counters the sweetness. With water, honeyed notes soften to creamy Swiss milk chocolate, a touch of salt appears as the spice reins in the sweetness.
Finish
Short, intensely warming, with a bold chili spice that lingers on the palate. The heat tightens quickly into a peppery finish; with water, the bite softens and the sweetness blooms into a creamier, smoother fade.
