Colour

Warm golden amber with a sunlit honey-gold sheen.

Nose

Lightly floral and honeyed, with orchard fruit and lemon zest unfolding over creamy vanilla. Subtle oak and a whisper of almond spice emerge, lending a polished, Speyside sweetness that invites the palate.

Palate

Silky and refined, the palate offers orchard fruits—pears and apples—softly layered with vanilla, honey and a hint of nutmeg. Subtle oak provides structure, while the finish remains balanced, warm and long.

Finish

Long, elegant and warming, the finish melds gentle sherry sweetness with dried fruit and toasted almond. Spiced oak carries through, with hints of orange zest and dark chocolate lingering gracefully on the palate.

Tomintoul
(TOM-in-tool) Tomintoul was founded in 1964 by the Glasgow whisky brokers Hay & MacLeod and W&S Strong, with production beginning in 1965 near the village of Tomintoul in Speyside. The distillery was part of the post-war expansion of Scotch whisky, built to meet growing demand for malt, and its site was chosen close to the Ballantruan Spring in the Cairngorms. Ownership later passed through Whyte & Mackay, before Angus Dundee Distillers bought Tomintoul in 2000.
