The second release of four from the "Cuatro series" (Spanish for four) of Sherry cask finished single malts from Tomatin released in 2014.
A Manzanilla Sherry cask finish of 3 years after 9 years in Ex-Bourbon Casks with only 1500 bottles released.
All four were from whisky distilled on the same day (January 15th 2002)
A more salted influence with this than the Fino edition but just as fresh and as enjoyable aperitif style malt.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with sunlit honey tones and a subtle copper glow.
Nose
Waxy citrus, dried fruit, and sultanas mingle with toasted marshmallow and biscuity grain; a hint of loose-leaf tea lifts the aroma, finished by a subtle salty caramel edge.
Palate
A fruit cake palate of salted butter, glace cherry, marzipan and walnut, with coffee cake accents.
Finish
Salty mocha, ginger and white pepper weave through the finish, brightened by ripe pear and a trace of loose-leaf tea.
