The Macallan Speymalt Single Malt Scotch Whisky Miniature 1995 Vintage
Out of stock
Gordon & MacPhail have been purveyors of fine goods across three centuries and, over many years, have built up and nurtured special relationships with local producers. Among these are several local whisky distilleries in the Speyside region from whom they purchase new-make spirit to be matured in their own oak casks.
However, there is only one distillery for which they reserve the title ‘Speymalt from Macallan Distillery’.
Established in 1824 and situated overlooking the fishing beats on the River Spey, the Macallan Distillery produces a wonderfully complex spirit, which they then carefully mature in quality oak casks ordered specifically for the ‘Speymalt from Macallan Distillery’ range.
Each bottling carries the vintage of distillation and the year of bottling, capturing an exceptionally mature single malt whisky.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent sherry aroma of orange zest, dried fig and raisin, layered with toffee, vanilla and polished oak. Warm spice of cinnamon and nutmeg threads through, with subtle cocoa and coffee notes.
Palate
Silky and refined, the palate reveals dried orchard fruits, orange zest and toffee, woven with mature oak. Sherried sweetness coats the tongue, complemented by gentle spice and cocoa, building depth without heaviness. A poised, lingering finish that echoes caramelized fruit and polished wood.
Finish
An elegant, enduring finish: dried fruit and orange zest give way to dark chocolate and toffee, carried by toasted oak. Cinnamon and clove linger softly, leaving a gentle sherry‑influenced warmth that fades with a polished, honeyed sweetness.
