Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep antique amber with a warm copper glow and mahogany edges.
Nose
Opulent mahogany aromas unfold with dark dried fruits: figs, raisins, and sultanas, brightened by orange peel and toffee. Rich cocoa and almond weave through, while warm spices: cinnamon and clove, with polished oak providing depth. Subtle leather and tobacco complete a refined sherry-cask perfume, promising decades of elegance.
Palate
A velvety, full-bodied palate of fig and raisin with dark cherry underpinnings and rich sherry oak. Silky toffee and burnt orange zest mingle with cocoa nibs and espresso, while cinnamon and clove spice thread through. Concentrated fruit lingers into a long, refined finish of leather and dark chocolate.
Finish
A long, luxurious finish that lingers with sherried sweetness and refined oak. Dried fig and sultana drift into cocoa and orange zest, lightly spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg. Velvet warmth coats the palate, fading to subtle leather and toffee, leaving a dignified, enduring memory of age and rare cask elegance.
