Tasting Notes
Colour
A deep burnished amber with coppery highlights and hints of mahogany—rich, sherry-kissed warmth visible in the glass.
Nose
Opulent sherry aromas unfurl with dark fruits—prune, fig and raisin—woven with orange zest, burnt sugar and cocoa nibs. Rich toffee, vanilla and almond mingle with spices and oak, a luxurious spine of cinnamon and clove. A touch of tobacco and leather adds intrigue as the bouquet thickens and lingers.
Palate
Full-bodied, cask-strength sherried palate with dried fruit—raisin, fig, date—woven into dark chocolate and toffee. Spices of clove and nutmeg mingle with orange zest and vanilla, while oak provides a warm, lingering finish.
Finish
Long, sumptuous finish lingers with dried orange peel, fig and dark chocolate, entwined with toffee and warm oak-spice. Sherry richness persists, leaving a silky, cinnamon-kissed glow that slowly fades.
