The Macallan Single Highland Malt Whisky 21 Year Old · 1989 Vintage
Out of stock
Scarce independent bottling with possibly the worst designed label I've ever seen (although said designer is one of the nicest businessmen you'll ever meet), although pehaps it's this that will make this bottle highly collectable in the future?

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery highlights and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent sherried aroma of dried plums and raisins, with orange zest, toffee and dark chocolate. Cinnamon and clove spice mingle with velvety oak, finishing with subtle walnut and leather notes.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and richly sherried, the palate reveals plum and raisin with orange zest, dark chocolate, and toasted almond. Cinnamon and clove spice ride the mid-palate, supported by integrated oak. A long, warm finish of figgy fruit, toffee, and lingering spice.
Finish
Silky, enduring finish with pronounced sherried depth. Dried fruits—raisin and fig—mingle with dark chocolate, molasses and orange zest, while soft, toasty oak frames the sweetness. A ribbon of spice—cinnamon and clove—builds and lingers, fading to elegant leather and coffee undertones. Persistent and refined, inviting a soft exhale of warmth with every sip.
