Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep mahogany amber with coppery highlights and a luminous, sherry-kissed glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-soaked nose: dark fruit, fig and raisin, orange zest and toffee, with cacao and roasted almond. A ribbon of warm spice—cinnamon and clove—rests over polished oak and a hint of leather.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, this Macallan delivers a sherry-rich palate: prunes, fig and raisin entwine with orange zest, dark chocolate and espresso, brightened by cinnamon and clove. Silky, velvety texture with refined oak and vanilla, leading to a warm, lingering finish that coats the palate with fruit, spice and toffee notes.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish opens with ex-sherry warmth—a crescendo of dried fruit, fig and orange peel lacquered by dark chocolate and espresso. A thread of spice through velvet oak leaves a warm, lingering finish of berry and cacao notes.
