Colour
Rich amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven aroma with dried cherries and fig, layered with orange zest, toasted almond and brown sugar. Rich cocoa, toffee and vanilla drift over polished oak, while cinnamon and nutmeg glow softly. A hint of leather and gentle smoke adds depth, evoking a frosted winter morning and the warm, refined Macallan character.
Palate
Silky and refined, with a measured sweetness. Dried fruits, orange peel and dark chocolate mingle with subtle spice, while elegant oak supports the mid-palate. A soft vanilla echo leads to a balanced, lingering finish of warm spice and resinous wood.
Finish
Long, refined finish with sherried sweetness, orange peel and dark fruit woven through warm oak. Dried raisin and cocoa linger, fading to a soft spice and a whisper of nutty oak.
