Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and a warm copper glow, edged by a ruby-tinted rim.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven nose with dried fig, raisin and date entwined with orange peel and toffee, beneath toasted oak. Subtle almond paste, vanilla and cinnamon weave through a cocoa-coffee undercurrent, with hints of leather and spice. A luxurious, velvet bouquet that speaks of patient aging in fine sherry casks.
Palate
Velvety and richly sherried, the palate pours with fig, raisin and orange zest over a backbone of dark chocolate and toffee. Spice notes of cinnamon and clove bloom against polished oak, delivering a luxurious sweetness that coats the mouth, then fades to espresso-dark fruit and a long, refined finish of leather and roasted almond.
Finish
Opulent and lasting, the finish drapes the palate in orange zest, dried fig and cocoa, braided with sherry sweetness. Spiced oak lingers with cinnamon and nutmeg, fading to a velvety, refined finale.
