Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-amber with mahogany edges and ruby highlights.
Nose
Opulent sherried aroma of dried figs and sultanas, with orange zest, toffee and polished oak. Spices—cinnamon and clove—linger over caramel and dark chocolate, yielding a warm, velvety perfume that promises depth and refinement.
Palate
Opulent and velvety on the palate, this Macallan reveals a warm, sherry-kissed core. Rich dried fruits—raisins, dates, fig—sit with dark chocolate, toffee and toasted almond. Spices emerge softly: cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, with orange zest and polished oak. A long, refined finish of silky sweetness and gentle warmth.
Finish
Opulent and enduring, the finish coats the palate with sherry-soaked sweetness—figs and raisins—complemented by dark chocolate and a hint of orange zest. Roasted oak, leather, and spice linger, slowly fading into a warm, resinous timber echo and dignified, extended length.
