Tasting Notes
Colour
Orange-tinged amber with a warm copper glow.
Nose
Orange zest and marmalade rise from the glass, ribboned with lush sherry fruit—raisin and fig with a touch of cocoa—against polished oak. Subtle spice notes of nutmeg and clove add warmth, yielding a vibrant, elegant nose that speaks to its Easter Elchies character.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, this intense palate reveals orange marmalade, candied peel and dried fig, wrapped in rich toffee and dark chocolate. Sherry-laden depth coats the mouth with velvety richness, while spice—clove and cinnamon—threads through, finishing long with orange zest, cocoa and lingering warmth.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with bright orange zest, dried fig and dark chocolate notes, tempered by rich sherry and toasted oak. A warm, lingering spice rides the tail—cinnamon and clove—gradually fading to a citrus-brushed, bittersweet finale that nods to the Orange Ribbon theme.
