Ah the 10 year old Sherry oak from Macallan. Once the 'entry' level bottling in the sherried range, this was discontinued in 2014. A collectors piece now, but for those who haven't tried it expect the classic smooth and supple texture of Macallan with orange caramel and buttered sweetness, a hint of walnut and oak spice and gentle delicate finish.

Dark, warm amber with copper-gold shimmer and a mahogany tinge.

A warm, lusciously sweet nose of orange caramel and creamy butter, lightly nutty with walnut and soft oak spice. Underneath, sherry-rich notes unfold—candied citrus, toffee and dried fruit—elegant, inviting and distinctly Macallan in profile.

Silky and supple on the palate, orange caramel and buttered sweetness lead with creamy warmth. Nutty walnut notes mingle with toasted oak spice, unfolding into a refined, delicate finish that lingers with gentle fruit and subtle spice.
