Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany-tinged edge.
Nose
Opulent Macallan nose with rich sherry influence from the Old Malt Cask, dried figs and orange zest, dark chocolate and espresso, layered with vanilla, toffee and spices over warm oak.
Palate
Oil-slick and velvety on the palate, it unfolds through rich dried fruits - plum, fig and raisin - matched with orange zest, cacao and brown sugar. Spices emerge - cinnamon and nutmeg - borne by supple oak and a silky, full-bodied texture. The 50% ABV lends warmth, with a long finish of toffee and subtle sherry spice.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfolds with opulent sherry sweetness—raisins, fig and orange zest—kissed by spice. Velvet oak and dark cocoa linger, leaving a warm, refined echo on the palate.
