The journey of our exceptional sherry seasoned oak casks begins in the vineyards of Jerez de la Frontera where the Andalucian sun grows the grapes that go on to become sherry, which seasons our casks. They continue their journey to The Macallan Estate, in Scotland, where they are filled with The Macallan fruity new make spirit and the meeting of two worlds begins.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and mahogany depth.
Nose
An inviting nose of butterscotch, vanilla and chocolate, brightened by citrus zest and tropical fruit notes, hinting at warm, dessert-like sweetness to come.
Palate
Vanilla ice cream topped with a berry compote, toasted oak, warming wood spice with salted caramel and pecans.
Finish
Medium-length finish with fruity notes, vanilla and toasted oak. A warm, creamy echo of the sherry-seasoned casks lingers, leaving a refined, lasting impression.
