Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, rich amber with mahogany undertones.
Nose
Opulent sherry-laced nose with dark fruit—prune, fig and sultana—over cocoa, toffee and burnt sugar. Candied orange zest adds citrus lift, while vanilla, cinnamon and clove mingle with polished oak. A hint of almond and nutmeg adds depth, finishing in warm, resinous oak with subtle tobacco-honey sweetness.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with rich sherried sweetness—fig, raisin and date unfold into sun-kissed citrus zest. Dark chocolate, espresso and toasted spice weave through, while velvety oak supports a lingering, warming finish with a gentle caramel glow.
Finish
Long and refined, the finish layers syrupy fig and raisin with dark chocolate and orange zest. Sherry oak lingers, delivering toasted almond, leather and spice, with a warm sweetness that slowly recedes into a velvet, elegant fade.
