Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany sheen.
Nose
Opulent, time-honored Macallan aromas: rich dried fruit—raisins, figs and plums—swaddled in deep sherry, with candied orange zest, vanilla and toffee. Polished oak, and a kiss of cocoa and warm spice complete the inviting, refined nose.
Palate
Silky, medium-full on the palate, with sherry warmth and a raisin-driven core. Glazed orange, fig and date unfold with vanilla, caramel and toasted oak. Cinnamon and clove spice thread through the mid-palate, while hints of leather and almond deepen the frame. The finish is long and elegant, softly oak-driven with a refined sweetness that lingers.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with sherry sweetness, hints of dried fruit, orange zest and cocoa; bathed in warm oak and spice, leaving a polished, lingering glow on the palate.
