Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, resonant amber with mahogany undertones and a copper-gold edge—a rich, sherry-kissed glow.
Nose
An opulent nose of ripe dark fruits—fig, prune and raisin—woven with rich sherry. Orange zest, cocoa and toffee mingle with vanilla and creamy oak, while cinnamon and clove lend spice. A hint of coffee and leather adds depth, all carried by a lacquered, liqueur-like richness that hints at the 29-year single-cask maturation.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied and richly sherried, the palate unveils fig, prune and orange zest woven with dark chocolate. Spiced, polished oak supports a velvety warmth at 52.6% ABV, leading to a long, refined finish of toffee, espresso and dried fruit.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish layers dried fruit and orange zest with rich sherry sweetness, stitched to dark chocolate and toasted oak. Cinnamon and clove unfold, then a warm, velvet fade that lingers with cognac-like richness and a final glow of polished wood.
