This exceptional Whisky offers a sweet lightness brought by the ex-Bourbon oak casks, intertwined with the depth and complexity created by The Macallan’s signature Sherry-seasoned oak casks. It has a higher strength ABV of 55%, selected by the Whisky Maker as the optimum level to bring forth the full character of the Single Malt.
Aromas of vanilla with candied orange peel and honey, sweet sultana and raisin with fresh oak and thyme. Warming ginger comes to the fore on the palate, along with sweet orange, vanilla and honey with a fresh vibrant oak. The finish is sweet and zingy which travels through to lingering fresh thyme.
