The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old forms part of Macallan's Sherry Oak Collection which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. A full bodied palate of mature oak, ginger and raisin flavours is complimented by a light mahogany natural colour.
These 18 years old Macallan's are becoming scarcer month by month with even the mid 80's distillations very much sought after.

Sherry-draped aroma of ripe raisins, dates and fig, brightened by orange zest and ginger. Beneath, polished oak and mahogany hints mingle with cocoa, signaling the 18 years of slow maturation in sherry-seasoned casks.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, this palate unfolds with mature oak, a warming wave of ginger and dried raisin sweetness. Sherry-influenced richness sits smoothly, delivering a velvety texture that lingers with raisin and spice into a long, satisfying finish.
Finish
An opulent, long finish where raisins, fig and ginger echo through a dusky, oaken warmth. Dark chocolate and espresso notes linger, carried on a velvet, sherry-soft sweetness that slowly diminishes to a final whisper of leather and spice.
