The Macallan Sherry Oak 18 Years Old forms part of Macallan's Sherry Oak Collection which features a series of single malt whiskies matured in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. A full bodied palate of mature oak, ginger and raisin flavours is complimented by a light mahogany natural colour.
An American 75cl release of this much sought after and now fairly scarce 1980 Macallan 18 year old which is complete with it's as new condition original box.

Nose
Rich sherry oak greets the nose with dark fruits—raisins, figs, and sultanas—seasoned with orange zest and ginger. Toasted oak and almond add depth, while chocolatey undertones and a kiss of cinnamon and clove weave through mahogany, leather, and vanilla notes. Complex, inviting, and quietly opulent.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied on the palate, it delivers mature oak with a warming kiss of ginger, layered with rich raisin and dried fruit. Velvety texture coats the mouth, building to a long, refined finish that lingers with subtle spice.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with warm oak and ginger-spice guiding a raisin-draped sweetness. Sherry depth lingers, unfolding into a toasted mahogany fade that stays elegant, persistent and refined.
