The very first batch of Teaninich whisky, as bottled by TBWC. A very barley and bourbon cask nose; buttered toast, dough, baked scones and an oaky nuttiness on the nose. The palate is delicate and floral to begin before the richness appears again, toasted crumpets, slight honeyed character and sweet vanilla. The finish is malty with pears and cream.
Known primarily as one of Diageo's workhorse distilleries (much of the output is produced for blending purposes) there has only been 2 official bottlings ever released, so independant bottlings have been the showcase for this distillery. Bottled as a 19 year old single malt, this is a release of 862 bottles.

Nose
Barley-forward with bourbon-cask depth, buttered toast and dough, baked scones, and a warm oaky nuttiness.
Palate
Delicate, floral on the palate at first, evolving into gentle richness with toasted crumpets, a hint of honey, and sweet vanilla, all carried on a soft malt.
Finish
Malty to the end, the finish lingers with pears and cream, a soft bakery-sweet fade that warms and invites another sip.
