Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany glow.
Nose
Opulent and refined, the nose opens with sun-warmed orchard fruit, vanilla and honey, then deepens into sherry-softened sweetness. Raisin and fig mingle with orange zest, toasted almond and cocoa, while warming spice and silky oak lend structure. A delicate grain lift threads through, adding light, airy elegance to the aromatic profile.
Palate
Silky and surprisingly weighty for a grain, it coats the palate with honeyed sweetness—vanilla custard, almond and toffee—threaded with orchard fruit and citrus zest. Sherry cask maturity brings dried fig and raisin, a gentle spice and cocoa notes, finishing long, warm and oak-inflected.
Finish
Long, lush finish that lingers with sherry-soaked raisin and fig, wrapping notes of dark chocolate, toffee, and warm spice around velvety vanilla and toasted oak, fading to a refined, honeyed warmth.
