Presented in Murray McDavid’s Mission Gold Series is an exceptionally mature single grain Scotch whisky from the Strathclyde Distillery. Distilled in 1987 and aged for 37 years, it has been finished in Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks, imparting deep, luxurious sweetness to the classic grain profile.
Lusciously smooth and rounded, with flavours of sticky toffee pudding, dark chocolate and rich molasses. The PX finish brings concentrated raisin, plum and burnt sugar notes, complemented by soft spice, desert fruits and a hint of warm oak.
