Bottled for Murray McDavid’s Mission Gold series, this Miltonduff was distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2026 at 31 years old. Finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry and Margaux wine casks, it was bottled at 43.8% ABV, with an outturn of 450 bottles.
That cask combination gives this whisky a rich and layered profile, with PX adding darker sweetness while the Margaux cask brings a slightly more elegant red-fruit note. After three decades of maturation, the whisky feels polished and composed, with fruit, spice and mature oak all working together in a more refined style.
