Now owned by Chivas Brothers under Pernod Ricard, Miltonduff remains an important malt for Ballantine’s, where it contributes warmth, floral character and gentle spice. From 1964 to 1981, the distillery also produced Mosstowie using Lomond stills, an experimental style now found only through rare independent bottlings. Miltonduff single malt itself is relatively uncommon as an official release, though independent bottlings show a rounded Speyside style with orchard fruit, honey, malt, soft spice and light floral notes.
