Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery mahogany highlights and a warm honey-gold glow.
Nose
Polished oak and vanilla lead a supple nose, weaving in layers of dried fruit—raisin, fig, apricot—and dark honey. Subtle sherry influence adds depth with toasted almond and marzipan, while a whispered spice and citrus zest keep the aroma bright and inviting.
Palate
Silky and full on the palate, with creamy vanilla and caramel at the core, complemented by orchard fruit and almond. A sherry-tinged richness brings dried fig and subtle cocoa, while white pepper and ginger spice lift the finish. At cask strength, it stays bright and long, finishing with oaken depth and a warm, cinnamon-kissed glow.
Finish
Long, warming finish with creamy vanilla and caramel giving way to oak and subtle spice; lingering grain sweetness coats the mouth, hints of nuttiness and dried fruit curling into a refined, enduring afterglow.
