Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-red hues and a warm mahogany glow.
Nose
Sherry-rich and densely fruity nose: dark stewed fruits mingle with baking spice and a hint of peat-smoke. Savory notes rise as leather and red-fruit sweetness intertwine, while coastal brine and earthy undertones lend maritime depth to the aroma.
Palate
Bold and rich on the palate, it unfurls with spice and stewed fruits, tempered by generous smoke. Red fruit sweetness meets savory, leather-wrapped warmth, with peppery spice and sherry-influenced depth. The mouthfeel is full and coating, with a briny, earthy undercurrent that lingers as the warmth fades.
Finish
Long, briny and earthy, the finish coats the palate with maritime depth that slowly recedes. Diminishing smoke lingers, yielding warming leather and delicate red-fruit notes as the memory fades.
