Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery glow and mahogany undertones, a warm, caramelly radiance.
Nose
Coastal brine and sea-salted timber mingle with antique oak; a layer of polished leather adds texture. Dried fig and plum meet nutmeg and clove as a gentle peat smoke lingers in the background. Sherry cask maturation threads chocolate, toffee, and almond into a dark, voluptuous fruit core.
Palate
On the palate, a waxy, full-bodied richness unfurls into sherried fruit with old oak and maritime peat. Dark toffee and dried fig mingle with salted caramel, while spices—nutmeg and clove—lift the mid-palate. The finish is long and refined, smoky yet graceful, with briny sea air, ash and toasted oak lingering in a resinous warmth.
Finish
Long and maritime, this finish unfolds with peat smoke that slowly gives way to rich sherry fruit, dark chocolate and toasted oak. A warm, peppery spice lingers, leaving a refined, coastal echo.
