Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark amber with copper-gold glints and a mahogany edge.
Nose
Peated, maritime nose of smoky brine and sea air, brightened by delicate sherry sweetness. Dried fruits—prune, fig, raisin—meet toffee, cocoa nibs and toasted almond, with a whisper of oak spice. A salty, coastal backbone lingers, hinting at Campbeltown's kelp-salted charm.
Palate
Peat-smoked and maritime, it coats the palate with waxy richness and a briny sweetness. Sherry-soaked dark fruits, toasted almond and cocoa unfold on a silky, full-bodied frame, threaded by vanilla-oak spice. Salted caramel weaves through sea-salt and waves of smoke, leaving a long, refined ember of warmth.
Finish
Long and maritime, the finish opens with coastal peat and smoke, then softens into sherry sweetness. Salted caramel, dried fruit and cocoa linger with warm oak and a gentle brine, fading to a refined, lasting glow.
