Springbank Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Old Bottling) 10 Year Old
Out of stock
Another older style bottling of Springbank, this time the classic 10 year old bottled from some time in the 1990's. Resplendent with the old cream coloured packaging, this has become something of a collectors item. Still a tasty whisky too!

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden-amber with warm honey tones and a subtle coppery glow.
Nose
Engaging maritime aromas rise first: light peat and sea-salt air mingle with polished malt, while sherry-driven dried fruits—raisins and fig—layer with honeyed toffee. Waxy oak, vanilla, and a kiss of cocoa and spice lend elegance to this old, collector’s Springbank nose.
Palate
Robust and waxy, the palate unfolds with Campbeltown peat and maritime brine, held in check by sherry-dark fruit—raisin, fig, plum—and a touch of cocoa. Oak spice and toasted almond frame the mouthfeel, while a warm, lingering finish carries orange zest and a subtle saline note.
Finish
Long, coastal finish where peat and sea spray linger, tempered by warm sherry-cask oak. Notes of cocoa, dried fig and orange zest drift forward as the smoke subsides, leaving a refined sweetness that clings to the palate with a final whisper of salt and oak.
