Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with mahogany depth and coppery glints.
Nose
Dark peat smoke mingles with rich sherry sweetness—figs, raisins, and cocoa layered over toasted oak. Bright notes of orange zest, vanilla, and spice lift the aroma, while a delicate maritime tang lingers, giving a refined, long-lived bouquet.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied with a maritime, slightly medicinal smoke. Rich sherry sweetness coats dried fig and raisin, threaded by cocoa, vanilla, and toasted oak. A bracing salt note keeps it buoyant, leading to a long, warming finish of peat, spice, and dark chocolate.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with peat-kissed warmth. Sherry sweetness coats the palate, unveiling dried fruit, cocoa and leather, lifted by spice and toasted oak. A gentle maritime salt lingers as the peat subsides, leaving a resinous, lasting glow.
