This classic Speyside malt was matured in a selection of American and American oak casks, resulting in a deep and complex dram without compromising on its easy drinking, approachable quality.

An easy going, crowd pleasing whisky with toffee, butterscotch and citrus flavours galore and hints of darker, sherried fruits.

Hints of rich dark chocolate mingle with spicy raisin notes, bright citrus zest and vanilla, wafting with a warm, inviting sweetness that promises elegant depth.

Oranges, toffee, vanilla and leather ride the palate, threaded with a gentle spice. The long, warming finish stays sweet and creamy, leaving a soft glow of spice.

Speyburn
(Spey-BURN) Speyburn was founded in Rothes in 1897 by John Hopkins, who built the distillery beside the Granty Burn and brought in Charles C. Doig to design a three-level site that worked with the steep valley rather than flattening it. Production began in time to fill the first cask before the end of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee year, and the distillery later passed to Distillers Company Limited in 1916. Speyburn then closed during the Second World War, when the site was used to house Scottish artillery regiments, before reopening in 1947.
