Nose

Bright Speyside aroma with honeyed barley, fresh orchard fruit and vanilla. A whisper of citrus zest and a gentle spice lift the bouquet, keeping it refined, approachable and inviting.

Palate

Sweet, ripe summer berries mingle with treacle and soft pomegranate, then wash through with white pepper. Subtle milk chocolate and fruitcake linger, delivering a creamy, spicy sweetness.

Finish

Medium-bodied and fruit-forward, the finish lingers with gentle sweetness and ripe fruit. Autumnal spices—cinnamon and nutmeg—emerge in the finale, wrapping the palate in a warm, spice-kissed glow that fades with graceful restraint.

Speyburn
(Spey-BURN) Speyburn was founded in Rothes in 1897 by John Hopkins, who built the distillery beside the Granty Burn and brought in Charles C. Doig to design a three-level site that worked with the steep valley rather than flattening it. Production began in time to fill the first cask before the end of Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee year, and the distillery later passed to Distillers Company Limited in 1916. Speyburn then closed during the Second World War, when the site was used to house Scottish artillery regiments, before reopening in 1947.
