Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper glow and a whisper of honey-gold.
Nose
Aromas of ripe red apples, raspberry jam and crème brûlée lead into swirls of hazelnut praline, with cinnamon spice and warm toasted oak lingering.
Palate
Pear crumble with creamy vanilla fudge and toasted almonds from extra-charred virgin oak, balanced by Sherry-matured Braeval. Raisin and gooseberry jam mingle with lively ginger and a hint of clove, finishing warm and decadent.
Finish
An expansive, lingering finish of warm spice—ginger, clove and cinnamon—woven with dark raisin and gooseberry jam. Vanilla fudge and toasted almond from the oak echo softly, leaving a richly spiced, creamy, honeyed depth that gracefully fades.
