Rosebank (silent) Highland Malt Scotch Whisky 34 Year Old
Out of stock
Tantalisingly rare 34 year old 88 degree Proof Rosebank bottled sometime in the 1970's by George Strachan of Aberdeenshire (who still to this day is grocer to the Royal Family) which means that this spirit was probably distilled in the early 1940's during war time perhaps? We don't understand why the label on this bottle refers to Highland Malt Scotch and not Lowland, but the original bottler has comfirmed this bottle as 100% authentic. Please note that the plastic seal is missing from this bottle.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale gold with a luminous straw sheen and a whisper of sunlit amber at the rim.
Nose
Delicate perfume of a Rosebank with floral white orchards—orange blossom, pear, green apple—rounded by waxy honey and lemon zest. Subtle sherry influence adds raisin, fig and toasted almond, all tucked into polished oak with a faint spice. Airy, refined, and decades in the making, this nose hints at quiet elegance and rare provenance.
Palate
Silken and refined on the palate, it opens with orchard fruit—green pear and crisp apple—draped in delicate floral honey. Waxy, lip-coating texture carries citrus zest and a whisper of spice. Subtle sherry influence brings dried fig, raisin and almond, with cocoa undertones, balanced by faint leather and oak. The finish is long and elegant, leaving a gentle sweetness and a soft waxy glow.
Finish
Silken and enduring, the finish coats the palate with orchard fruit and dried citrus, a whisper of almond and vanilla, and a sherried depth of fig and cocoa. Delicate oak and a waxy mouthfeel linger, leaving a warm, refined glow that slowly dissipates into elegant, lasting memories.
