Tasting Notes

Colour

Warm golden amber with sunlit honey tones and a faint coppery edge.

Nose

Delicate, perfumed nose of lemon blossom, pear and green apple, lifted by lilac and lavender. Honeyed sweetness and subtle vanilla-wax, with a quiet sherry depth—dried fruit, almond, and toasted oak, all wrapped in elegant, silky fragrance.

Palate

Silky palate of orchard fruit—green apple, pear, and lemon zest—woven with waxy, floral notes. Sherry influence adds gentle richness: dried apricot, raisin, cocoa nib, almond, and cinnamon. Finishes long and refined with honeyed fruit and subtle spice.

Finish

Silky, extended finish of crisp orchard fruits and lemon zest, with a whisper of floral honey and delicate sherry, joined by almond and spice, fading to warm oak and a lingering sweetness.

(Rose-BANK) Famous for very high quality, triple distilled malt, Rosebank Distillery can be found on the banks of the Forth and Clyde canal, between Edinburgh and Glasgow. With the exception of war time closures, Rosebank distilled until 1993 when it was closed, seemingly for good. Naturally over time bottlings have become scarce.
