Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale straw gold with a delicate honey sheen and a whisper of amber at the rim.
Nose
Delicate rose petals and orange blossom lead, backed by honeyed pear and orchard fruit. A refined veil of almond and subtle dried-fruit sweetness from the sherry, with a kiss of warm spice, all in a perfumed, candlelit nose.
Palate
Opulent and perfumed, the palate greets with rosewater and orchard fruit, ripe pear and white peach, a hint of citrus zest, lifted by a delicate waxy mouthfeel. Sherry-cask maturity threads dried apricot and fig through silky toffee and subtle spice, while a refined mineral edge keeps it bright. Full-bodied yet graceful, the finish lingers with rose petals, almond and a warm, lingering sweetness.
Finish
Elegant, perfumed finish with rosewater sweetness lingering long on the palate. Red apple and apricot give way to subtle sherry, delicate oak, and almond, while a gentle spice thread carries through to a warm, floral afterglow that endures well beyond the last sip.
