Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a mahogany core and coppery highlights, a warm chestnut glow.
Nose
Sherried, dark-fruit bouquet of prune, raisin, fig and cherry, lifted by orange zest and toffee. Cocoa, vanilla and toasted almond rest on rich oak, while subtle spice, leather and tobacco lend old-world depth to this well-aged Scotch.
Palate
Silky and medium-bodied, the palate unfurls sherry-cask depth: fig, prune and raisin sweetness married to dark chocolate, toasted almond and a kiss of spice. Velvet oak lends structure, with whispers of leather and orange zest. The finish is long, warm and refined, leaving dried-fruit notes and cacao to linger.
Finish
An enduring, sherried finish that clings with refined sweetness. Dried fig and cherry meld with polished oak, slow to fade into cocoa, toffee and spice. A whisper of tobacco and almond lingers, leaving a warm, velvety tail that lengthens gracefully across the palate.
