Tasting Notes
Colour
Natural colour with a wine-kissed amber core, braided with copper-bronze depth and a hint of ruby glow from Pinot Nero cask influence.
Nose
Red bubblegum and salted pink wafers rise with bright blood orange and red liquorice, interwoven with palma violets and black grape must. Subtle earthy-red berry notes mingle with wet woodland nuances, finishing with a crisp kiss of pomegranate.
Palate
Red liquorice, plum jam and sloe berries mingle with cherry nougat and marzipan; crunchy tannins set the texture, while redcurrant and cranberry glow, finished with fresh herbs and a hint of anise.
Finish
Red berries and bramble jelly linger with red liquorice and crunchy tannins, giving way to stewed plums and damsons. The finish dries into herbal, peppery oak with a delicate whisper of rose Turkish delight.
