Italian malt whisky from Puni, whose distillery is housed inside a frankly awesome 13 metre red brick cube!
Unlike other malt whiskies, barley isn't the only cereal used here, however, as malted rye and malted wheat are both also employed.
NOVA is matured in American oak casks for around three years and rested in Limousin oak barriques for a couple of weeks before bottling.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with coppery highlights and a honeyed glow.
Nose
Vanilla and toffee mingle with creamy cereal notes—barley, rye and wheat—underpinned by citrus zest and orchard fruit. Subtle rye spice and toasted oak lend structure, while almond and a hint of oak-derived sweetness linger in a clean, inviting aroma.
Palate
Silky and layered, the palate blends malted barley with rye and wheat, yielding a creamy graininess intertwined with vanilla and caramel from American oak. Limousin oak adds a subtle spice and light tannin, steering to a toasted, pepper-kissed finish with hints of citrus zest and lingering cereal sweetness.
Finish
Elegant and lingering, the finish releases vanilla and toasted oak, a soft rye-spice lift, and gentle barley sweetness that slowly fades to a crisp, citrus-touched dry finish.
