Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep copper-gold with a luminous amber core and burnished bronze rim, a sherried, sun-kissed glow hinting at richness and depth.
Nose
Sherried richness with citrus zest and a kiss of sea salt; almonds and toasted hazelnuts mingle with ripe orchard fruit. Dried fig and raisin deepen into dark chocolate, while warm spice—cinnamon and clove—lingers over vanilla and soft oak. A caramel sweetness glows beneath, finished by a faint maritime breeze that keeps it bright and refined.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied on the palate, it layers dark fruit—raisin, fig and dried orange—with cocoa, toasted almond and warm spice. Sherry cask influence brings velvety sweetness and depth, while gentle maritime salt and oak lift the profile, delivering a long, warmly balanced finish.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with rich sherry influence. Dried fruits—raisin and fig—merge with dark chocolate and toasted almond, lifted by a citrus zest echo. The finale carries warm spice and a subtle maritime tang, fading to a suave, lingering sweetness that echoes Oban’s coastal depth.
