Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery hues and a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Ripe dried fruits—raisin, fig and plum—dip in sherried sweetness, mingling with dark chocolate and silky toffee. Citrusy lift from orange and lemon zest brightens the nose, while vanilla and toasted oak add warmth. A whisper of maritime brine threads through, echoing Oban’s coastal character.
Palate
Silky and richly textured, the palate offers honeyed sweetness, coastal salt and citrus zest of orange and grilled lemon. Sherry-cask maturation folds in dark fruits—fig, raisin, date—with cocoa, toasted almond and a whisper of spice. A creamy oak backbone carries a warming, lingering finish of sweetness, salt and gentle spice.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with sherry sweetness lingering around dried fig and raisin, touched by dark chocolate and toasted almond with citrus zest. A whisper of coastal salt rests on the palate, while spice and oak carry warmth into a refined, enduring finale.
