Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany.

Nose

Profound Islay peat and sea breeze lift the nose, with medicinal iodine and smoky embers over salted malt. Citrus zest and vanilla weave through, while deeper sherry-dark fruit, toffee and a whisper of cocoa add depth. A maritime, refined bouquet that speaks of coastal distilleries aged in oak.

Palate

Coastal peat coats the palate, with sea-salt, iodine and a ribbon of smoldering smoke. Velvet sherry sweetness lends depth, while Port Ellen adds regal, long-lingering richness; Caol Ila contributes zesty citrus and mineral clarity; Lagavulin delivers resinous peat, cocoa and tobacco. A bold, warming finish with a lasting coastal glow.

Finish

A long, maritime finish of peat, sea salt and iodine, evolving into ash and pepper, with lingering notes of dark chocolate, dried fruit and a touch of vanilla oak.
